Shauna Neary is a retired professional ice hockey player who gained recognition for her exceptional skills as a forward during her career in the Women’s National Hockey League (NWHL) and international competitions. Born on July 12, 1988, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Neary developed her passion for hockey at an early age, quickly excelling in youth leagues and earning a scholarship to play collegiate ice hockey at the University of Minnesota. During her time with the Golden Gophers, she was instrumental in leading the team to several conference championships and a national title in 2007.
Neary began her professional career in the NWHL in 2015, where she played for the Minnesota Whitecaps, showcasing her scoring ability and playmaking skills.
