Biography
Shawn Chambers, born on October 11, 1966, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman from the United States. He played junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) before being selected in the second round of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota North Stars. Over the course of his career, Chambers showcased his talent with several NHL teams including the North Stars, the New Jersey Devils, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Atlanta Thrashers.
Chambers had notable success during his time with the New Jersey Devils, contributing to the team's defensive lineup that led to their first Stanley Cup victory in 1995.
