Shawn Hunwick, born on April 9, 1987, in Sterling Heights, Michigan, is a retired American professional ice hockey goaltender. He gained prominence during his collegiate career with the University of Michigan, where he played from 2007 to 2011. Hunwick was instrumental in leading the Wolverines to significant success, including a NCAA tournament appearance and strong postseason performances in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA).
