Standing at 7 feet 5 inches (2.26 m), he gained attention during his high school career at John Muir High School in Pasadena, California, where he showcased his impressive skills and physical presence on the court. Bhullar later committed to playing college basketball for the New Mexico State Aggies, where he became a key contributor to the team.
In 2014, Bhullar made history by becoming the first player of Indian descent to sign with an NBA team when he was signed by the Sacramento Kings.
