Biography
Simon Gagné, born on February 29, 1980, in Shawinigan, Quebec, is a retired Canadian ice hockey forward renowned for his scoring prowess and versatility on the ice. He was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers as the 22nd overall pick in the first round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Gagné made his NHL debut during the 1999-2000 season and quickly established himself as a key player for the team.
Throughout his career, Gagné played for several NHL franchises, most notably the Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and New York Rangers.
