Sinead Farrelly, born on November 16, 1989, is a professional soccer player from the United States known for her versatility as a midfielder. Flourishing in youth soccer, she was a standout player at the University of Virginia, where she contributed significantly to the team’s success, earning All-ACC and All-American honors. Following her collegiate career, Farrelly was selected by the Philadelphia Independence in the 2011 Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) draft.
During her professional career, Farrelly played for clubs including the Philadelphia Independence and Portland Thorns FC, showcasing her skill and determination on the field. She was part of the Thorns FC roster that claimed the NWSL Championship in 2013, marking a significant milestone in her career.
