Skip Barry is a former professional basketball player known for his notable contributions to the sport in the 1980s and early 1990s. Born on January 15, 1963, in Flint, Michigan, Barry exhibited exceptional talent in basketball during his high school years, leading to a scholarship at the University of Michigan. He played college basketball for the Wolverines, where his skills as a shooting guard earned him All-Big Ten honors.
After declaring for the NBA Draft, Barry was selected in the second round by the Houston Rockets in 1985.
