A talented midfielder, she played collegiate soccer at the University of North Carolina, where she was instrumental in leading the team to multiple NCAA championships. Mundy’s professional career began in 2006 when she was drafted by the Washington Spirit in the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league.
