Sophie Jaques, born on October 16, 2000, in Toronto, Ontario, is a prominent Canadian ice hockey player recognized for her defensive skills and impactful play. Jaques began her hockey journey in youth leagues before advancing to the prestigious Ontario Hockey Academy, where she honed her skills and showcased her talent on the ice.
Jaques played collegiate hockey for the Ohio State Buckeyes, where she made significant contributions to the team's success. During her tenure from 2018 to 2022, she helped lead the Buckeyes to their first-ever NCAA Division I Women's Ice Hockey Championship title in 2022.
