Speedy Thomas, born on April 13, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana, was an accomplished NFL wide receiver known for his exceptional speed and agility on the field. After playing college football at Southern University, he was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the fourth round of the 1969 NFL Draft.
