Stefan Legein, born on November 24, 1988, in London, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his playing style as a forward. He gained prominence in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Niagara IceDogs, where he showcased his scoring ability and leadership skills. Legein was selected in the second round, 37th overall, by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Throughout his career, Legein played for several teams in both the NHL and the American Hockey League (AHL). Following his draft, he made his NHL debut with the Columbus Blue Jackets during the 2008-09 season.
