White played college basketball at Purdue University, where she was a standout guard, leading the Boilermakers to their first NCAA Championship in 1999. Her exceptional skills earned her numerous accolades, including being named a First-Team All-American and the Big Ten Conference Player of the Year.
After her collegiate success, White was selected as the fifth overall pick in the 1999 WNBA Draft by the Orlando Miracle. During her six-season professional career, she played for the Miracle, the Charlotte Sting, and the Houston Comets, contributing to her teams with her sharp shooting and basketball IQ.
