Stephen Gostkowski, born on January 28, 1984, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a former professional American football placekicker known for his impressive career in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Memphis, where he gained recognition for his kicking abilities and was subsequently selected by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Over his 14-season career, Gostkowski established himself as one of the most reliable kickers in the league.
