Steve Alley, born on December 29, 1953, in the United States, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his powerful presence on the ice as a forward. Alley played junior hockey with the Portland Winterhawks in the WHL before being drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1973 NHL Draft.
