Biography
Steve Duchesne, born on June 30, 1965, in Granby, Quebec, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman. Drafted 26th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, Duchesne made his NHL debut in the 1986-87 season. Over his career, he played for several teams, including the Flyers, Quebec Nordiques, and the Los Angeles Kings, showcasing his offensive capabilities from the blue line.
Duchesne is best known for his impressive scoring touch and playmaking skills as a defenseman, contributing significantly to the teams he represented. He registered a career-high of 66 points during the 1992-93 season while with the Kings, helping them reach the Stanley Cup Finals. Throughout his career, Duchesne played in over 1,000 NHL games and was recognized for his strong two-way play and leadership on and off the ice.
