Steve Farmer is a retired American basketball player, born on February 15, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois. Standing at 6 feet 7 inches, he played primarily as a forward during his collegiate and professional career. Farmer gained prominence as a standout player at the University of Illinois, where he was named to the All-Big Ten team and led his team in scoring for two consecutive seasons.
Following his college success, Farmer was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets.
