Steve Grogan, born on July 24, 1953, in Piqua, Ohio, is a former professional American football quarterback who played 16 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily for the New England Patriots. He was selected by the Patriots in the fourth round of the 1975 NFL Draft after an impressive collegiate career at Kansas State University, where he showcased both passing ability and notable athleticism.
Throughout his career, Grogan became known for his dual-threat capability, combining effective passing with a strong running game.
