Steve Kaufusi, born on October 17, 1963, in Tonga, is a former professional American football player who made a name for himself as a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL). After moving to the United States, Kaufusi excelled in high school football, which led to a scholarship at Brigham Young University (BYU). He was a key player for the BYU Cougars, showcasing his athletic prowess and earning all-conference honors during his college career.
Kaufusi was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1985 NFL Draft, marking the beginning of his professional career.
