Steve Konroyd, born on February 10, 1961, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey defenseman known for his robust playing style and leadership qualities. Over the course of his career, he played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for several teams including the Chicago Blackhawks, New York Islanders, and the Winnipeg Jets. Konroyd was recognized for his solid defensive skills and contributed to his teams both on and off the ice.
Konroyd's professional career began after being selected 38th overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.
