Steve McClendon, born on January 3, 1986, in Jacksonville, Florida, is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football at the University of Troy, McClendon went undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft but was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he began his professional career. He quickly became known for his reliability and strength on the defensive line, contributing to the Steelers' defensive unit.
