Steve McElvene (born September 26, 1995) was an American basketball player known for his imposing presence on the court as a center. Standing at 7 feet 1 inch, McElvene played for the University of Dayton, where he earned recognition for his defensive skills and rebounding abilities. He was a crucial member of the Dayton Flyers during the team's successful run in the NCAA tournament, contributing to their advancement to the second round in 2015.
McElvene went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft but continued to pursue a professional basketball career overseas. He signed with various international teams, where he showcased his potential and further honed his skills.
