Steve Rivers is a former professional basketball athlete born on February 12, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia. He played college basketball at the University of North Carolina, where he was a standout player, helping lead the team to a NCAA tournament appearance in 2006. Rivers was known for his exceptional shooting ability and court vision, which earned him recognition as one of the top point guards in collegiate basketball.
