Steve Spagnuolo, born on December 21, 1959, in Woodland Park, New Jersey, is a former NFL player and notable coach known for his expertise in defense. A graduate of the University of Delaware, he played college football as a linebacker and later transitioned into coaching. Spagnuolo began his professional coaching career in the NFL as a defensive assistant with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1999.
Spagnuolo gained widespread recognition for his role as the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants during the 2007 and 2011 seasons.
