Steve Vickers, born on April 21, 1951, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player celebrated for his impactful career in the National Hockey League (NHL). Vickers was drafted 5th overall by the New York Rangers in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft, entering the league with considerable expectations.
