Steven Spencer is a Canadian ice hockey athlete born on June 16, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta. He began his junior career with the Calgary Hitmen in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where his exceptional skills as a forward earned him recognition and paved the way for his professional career. Spencer was drafted 45th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, showcasing the promise that he displayed as a junior player.
