Takeo Spikes, born on December 17, 1976, in Augusta, Georgia, is a former American football linebacker known for his impactful career in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Georgia, where he earned All-American honors before being selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft. Over his 15-season career, Spikes established a reputation for his defensive prowess and leadership on the field.
Spikes played for several NFL teams, including the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and the San Diego Chargers.
