Tammy Annas is a retired professional basketball player known for her exceptional skills on the court and significant contributions to women's basketball. Born on January 15, 1985, in Charlotte, North Carolina, she gained attention during her high school career at Central High School, where she led her team to several state championships and received multiple All-American honors. Annas played college basketball at the University of North Carolina, where she was a standout player, earning All-Conference and All-American accolades throughout her tenure.

After completing her college career in 2007, Annas was selected as a first-round pick in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Draft by the San Antonio Stars.
