Taya Currie is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender, known for breaking barriers in women's hockey as one of the first female players to be drafted in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Born on March 2, 2003, in Trenton, Ontario, Currie gained national attention during her time with the St. Thomas Stars in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, where her exceptional performance solidified her reputation as a skilled athlete.
