Ted Chapman, born on April 5, 1964, is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the third round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos after a standout collegiate career at the University of Michigan, where he earned All-American honors. Known for his agility and sharp instincts on the field, Chapman quickly established himself as a key player in the Broncos' secondary.
During his six-season career in the NFL, Chapman recorded 15 interceptions and made significant contributions to the Broncos’ defensive unit.
