Ted Washington, born on April 13, 1968, is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Standing at an imposing 6 feet 5 inches and weighing over 300 pounds, Washington was renowned for his formidable presence on the defensive line. He played college football at the University of Louisville before entering the NFL, where he was selected in the 1991 NFL Draft.
Throughout his career, Washington played for several teams, including the Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, and Buffalo Bills. He was a key part of the Buffalo Bills’ defense during the team’s consecutive Super Bowl appearances in the early 1990s.
