Terry Carkner, born on March 7, 1966, in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman. He was selected 88th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. Carkner, known for his physical play and solid defensive skills, played a total of 11 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for various teams including the Flyers, the Winnipeg Jets, the Ottawa Senators, and the Florida Panthers.
