Terry Hoage, born on April 11, 1962, in Palo Alto, California, is a former American football safety who played in the National Football League (NFL) primarily during the 1980s and early 1990s. He attended the University of Georgia, where he gained recognition for his standout defensive skills, earning All-American honors. Hoage was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 12th round of the 1986 NFL Draft, where he began his professional career.
Over his 11-year NFL career, Hoage played for several teams, including the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, and New Orleans Saints. He is best known for his tenure with the Eagles, where he developed a reputation as a tenacious defender.
