Biography
Terry Hoeppner (born August 19, 1947) was an American football player who played the position of quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) during the 1970s. He played college football at the University of Florida, where he distinguished himself as a talented passer and leader on the field. Hoeppner was selected in the 14th round of the 1970 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins.
Throughout his NFL career, Hoeppner played for the Dolphins, primarily as a backup quarterback. His time in the league included contributions to a Dolphins team that won Super Bowl VII, making him part of a celebrated franchise history.
