Thanasis Antetokounmpo, born on July 18, 1992, in Athens, Greece, is a professional basketball player known for his versatility and athleticism. He is the older brother of NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and has played a significant role in promoting basketball in Greece and among the Greek diaspora. Thanasis played college basketball at the University of West Athens before pursuing a professional career.
Throughout his career, Thanasis has played for several teams in Europe, including Filathlitikos and the New York Knicks’ summer league. He joined the NBA officially in the 2019-2020 season with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he contributed to the team's success and became part of their championship-winning roster in 2021.
