Thomas Tyner, born on September 14, 1994, in Aloha, Oregon, is a former professional American football running back. He gained national attention during his high school career at Aloha High School, where he set the Oregon state record for career rushing yards and garnered numerous accolades, including being named the 2012 Gatorade National Football Player of the Year. Tyner went on to play college football at the University of Oregon, where he contributed to the team's success as part of a high-powered offense.
During his collegiate career, Tyner showcased his explosive speed and agility, making significant contributions to the Oregon Ducks from 2013 to 2015. He played a pivotal role in the team's run to the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2015 and recorded a standout performance in the 2014 season, rushing for 1,000 yards, which solidified his reputation as a top-tier running back.
