Tim Burns is a former professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. Born on March 15, 1987, in Charlotte, North Carolina, he exhibited outstanding talent during his high school career at Charlotte High School, leading his team to multiple state championships. Burns went on to play college basketball at the University of North Carolina, where he earned All-American honors in his junior year and helped the Tar Heels secure a NCAA Championship in 2009.
Burns was selected in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, where he quickly made a name for himself as a sharpshooter from beyond the arc. Over his six-year NBA career, he played for several teams, including the Pelicans and the Atlanta Hawks, and he achieved career averages of 14.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
