Tim DeCaminada is a retired professional basketball athlete known for his exceptional skills as a guard. Born on March 14, 1985, in San Diego, California, he gained prominence during his college career at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was a key player on the team that reached the NCAA tournament finals in 2007. Following his collegiate success, DeCaminada was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets.
Throughout his professional career, DeCaminada played for several teams in the NBA, including the Denver Nuggets, the New York Knicks, and the Memphis Grizzlies. He is particularly noted for his three-point shooting ability and playmaking skills, making significant contributions during the 2010-2011 NBA season when he averaged 15 points and 6 assists per game for the Knicks.
