Biography
Tim Sestito, born on August 28, 1984, in Farmingville, New York, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his role as a forward. He played junior hockey in the United States Hockey League (USHL) before moving to college hockey with the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he competed for the Minutemen from 2002 to 2006. Sestito was selected 188th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 6th round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Throughout his career, Sestito played primarily in the American Hockey League (AHL) with several teams, including the Albany River Rats, Manitoba Moose, and the Hershey Bears. He made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut with the New Jersey Devils during the 2011-2012 season and later played for the Edmonton Oilers in the 2013-2014 season. Sestito was recognized for his physical playing style and commitment to team play, making contributions to the squads he joined through both offensive and defensive efforts.
