Tim Stapleton, born on July 19, 1982, in La Grange, Illinois, is a former professional ice hockey player from the United States. He played as a forward and is recognized for his exceptional speed and scoring ability. Stapleton was a standout player at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he developed his skills and earned All-WCHA honors during his collegiate career.
Stapleton was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the sixth round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Atlanta Thrashers during the 2009-2010 season and went on to play parts of three seasons in the league, also spending time with the Winnipeg Jets.
