Todd Ewen, born on March 22, 1966, in Camrose, Alberta, Canada, was a professional ice hockey player known for his role as a tough enforcer. Ewen played junior hockey with the Portland Winterhawks in the WHL before being selected 18th overall in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens. His career in the National Hockey League (NHL) spanned from 1985 to 1996, during which he played for several teams, including the Canadiens, Hartford Whalers, Anaheim Ducks, and St. Louis Blues.
Throughout his career, Ewen was recognized for his physical style of play and ability to protect his teammates, amassing a total of 1,094 penalty minutes over 386 regular season games.
