Tom Danzai is a former professional basketball player known for his remarkable career in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and overseas. Born on May 12, 1989, in Los Angeles, California, he showcased exceptional talent in high school at Westlake High, leading his team to state championships before earning a scholarship to play for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During his collegiate career, Danzai was recognized as an All-American, averaging 18.5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, solidifying his place as one of the top prospects heading into the NBA Draft.
Danzai was selected as the 15th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat.
