Tomáš Hertl is a professional ice hockey player from the Czech Republic, born on November 12, 1993, in Prague. He began his career in the Czech junior leagues before moving to North America, where he was selected 17th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Hertl made his NHL debut during the 2013-14 season and quickly established himself as a skilled forward known for his scoring ability and strong two-way play.
