Biography
Tomáš Jurčo was born on December 28, 1992, in Košice, Slovakia. He began his professional ice hockey career in the Slovak Extraliga before being drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the second round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Jurčo played junior hockey in the QMJHL with the Saint John Sea Dogs, where he contributed to the team's success, including winning the 2011 Memorial Cup.
In the NHL, Jurčo made his debut with the Detroit Red Wings during the 2013-2014 season and showcased his skills as a forward. He later played for the Chicago Blackhawks and spent time in the AHL with teams such as the Grand Rapids Griffins and Rockford IceHogs, where he continued to develop his game.
