Tom Poser is a retired professional basketball player known for his contribution to the sport in both college and professional leagues. Born on January 15, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois, he played college basketball at the University of Illinois, where he earned All-American honors and helped lead the team to the NCAA Tournament's Final Four in 2005. Poser was known for his exceptional shooting ability and on-court leadership, which caught the attention of NBA scouts.
Drafted in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks, Poser made an immediate impact with his agility and scoring prowess.
