Tom Rafferty, born on August 2, 1954, in the United States, is a former professional American football player who gained prominence as a center in the National Football League (NFL). He played most of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, where he was known for his exceptional blocking skills and reliability on the offensive line. Rafferty was a pivotal part of the Cowboys' offense during the team's success in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Rafferty was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 4th round of the 1976 NFL Draft and quickly established himself as a starting center.
