Tom Sasso, born on November 20, 1966, is a former professional ice hockey player from the United States. A forward, Sasso played in the National Hockey League (NHL) primarily during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was known for his tenacity on the ice and contributed significantly to his teams' efforts during his playing career.
Sasso was drafted 53rd overall in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota North Stars. He played in over 100 NHL games, including stints with the North Stars as well as the New York Rangers and the Hartford Whalers.
