Tom Schaffner is a former professional basketball player known for his impact in both collegiate and professional leagues. Born on February 15, 1985, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Schaffner played college basketball at the University of Minnesota, where he earned All-Big Ten honors during his junior and senior years. After graduating in 2007, he declared for the NBA Draft but was not selected.
Following his college career, Schaffner was signed by the Sioux Falls Skyforce, an NBA Development League team, in 2007.
