Tom Sparks is a retired professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard. Born on June 12, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, Sparks rose to prominence during his collegiate career at the University of North Carolina, where he led the Tar Heels to an NCAA Championship in 2006. His performance earned him All-American honors and he was subsequently selected as the 15th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls.

During his ten-year career in the NBA, Sparks played for several teams, including the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, and Denver Nuggets.
