Tom Thrower is a former professional American football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on December 15, 1985, in San Diego, California, and attended the University of Connecticut, where he had a standout collegiate career. Following his successful college tenure, he was selected in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins.
