Tom Wise is a retired American professional basketball player known for his impactful career in the National Basketball Association (NBA) during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Born on March 12, 1975, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Wise played college basketball at the University of Connecticut, where he garnered attention for his scoring ability and athleticism. He was selected as the 15th overall pick in the first round of the 1997 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics.
